The game begins by showing a small summary of the events of the old games in the series, and something new: the bankruptcy of the Umbrella Corporation has been announced; due to members of Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker, who are involved in the Umbrella Chronicles. And the main character from RE4 is Leon S. Kennedy, survivor of Raccoon City, who now works as a secret agent for the American Government. Leon investigated the suspicion of Ashley Graham, the President’s daughter, who was kidnapped to apparently be in a remote village in Spain. Leon is assisted by Ingrid Hunnigan, who gives him information about the terrain.
