INTERNATIONAL WRITERS OF LUNAR
“A good writing is swimming underwater and holding the breath” F. Scott Fitzgerald. Writing is a subtle flow of thoughts toward the conclusion. Overall, it portrays the thoughts beautifully. Our Lunar Lingua conducted an essay writing competition – The International Writers of Lunar – encouraging the students to pen down their thoughts to commemorate the International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development on 05 December 2022.
We invited various schools and colleges to stage their students and give them a chance to expose their flamboyance in writing down their ideas. Nearly 10+ schools participated in the competition. Among these schools, Velammal Bodhi Campus from Kumbakonam and TNPL Public School from Karur won the winner awards and rocked the stage.
When we were wearied on searching the deserving winners, the students from both these schools blew our minds.
THE WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION!
1. TNPL Public School (Senior Secondary), Kagithapuram.
Ms. J. Dhivya Sri of grade XI and S. Aroma Nabeesa of grade IX won first and second place respectively under the proficient guidance of V. Sangeetha and D. Indirani of TNPL Public School.
II. Velammal Bodhi Campus, Kumbakonam.
D. Santiyag Amalesh of grade V and K. Harshitha of grade VIII won first and second place respectively under the guidance of Mrs. Lucy Pradeepa and Mrs. Gayathri.
We appreciate both the schools’ excellence, wonderful performance, and endeavour. There is a famous saying, “I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavour.” by Henry David Thoreau. This quote seems to be precise by their majestic skills. We look forward to the children’s participation in our upcoming events.
